Every time we go to 678, theres always a wait, no matter what day it is. So per usual, we sat down with our buzzer and waited for our table.
I know it's a bad habit but when eating Korean BBQ I always feel like something's missing if we don't at least have a glass of beer or rice wine!
Since we were celebrating a birthday but all had work the next day, we decided to go with some thing lighter than soju & beer. I don't like the taste of rice wine if it's not mixed with Sprite, maybe I'm used to always mixing my drinks, I don't know but in my opinion in tastes way better.
Can't eat Korean BBQ without some soup - as a courtesy, they normally give you soy bean paste soup with your meal.
Our server wasn't great that day but nonetheless, the food was delicious. Probably out of all the Korean BBQ joints in Georgia, 678 would be my favorite.
A few days ago it was my 24th birthday. We made dinner reservations at Bones for just the two of us.
Everybody around me would constantly tell me that the steak at Bones is really good. In a way that's what made me want to go there more, I just had to try it out for myself. As soon as we walked in, they were very friendly and kept greeting me a happy birthday.
When they seated us I noticed they had thrown birthday confetti on the table cloth.
They started us off with the basic bread and butter, which my boyfriend always gets full off of. I had to stop him a few times to not eat everything but he did.
What kind of celebration would it be without a glass of wine and well, beer for the boy. Probably the most expensive dessert wine I ever had.
We didn't bother with any appetizers because we always get too full and can't finish our main entree.
We ordered a side of truffle butter mashed potatoes which was actually one of the best I've ever tasted. Boyfriend ordered the crab stuffed trout & of course I went for the 20 oz rib eye bone in steak.
Just when we thought we were all ready to go, our waiter came out with this massive ice cream cake and wished me a happy birthday. It was the best way to end the night.
Thank you for an amazing birthday dinner to my loving boyfriend.
